Welcome to the first installment of our
“Week In The Life” video series!
Each day for the next seven, we will be posting a short video clip that contains scenes from our day. We will show you the glamorous and unglamorous parts of our vagabond lifestyle, all set against the backdrop of Brussels, Belgium!
Our first video, entitled “Travel and Work” follows us through the Brussels streets as we find our new housesitting gig, stumble with new languages, and try to get caught up on our work. Perhaps slightly unglamorous, but a very *real* day in our lives!
Note that our last name ain’t Scorcese, and there is no Spielberg blood in our ancestry…we just wanted to do something different and show you what goes on behind the scenes of our lives.

Total losers! There is a lot of loser-y action throughout the week. And that video of the kitty…a small snippet of the ten minutes it took us to give her the meds! We got to be pros by the end of the two weeks though 🙂

I can totally relate to everything in this video (except the kitty meds–haven’t had the pleasure of that task yet!). There’s nothing better–or worse–than arriving in a new place with everything you own strapped to your back–or rather, being pulled behind as in our case. We dislike all that weight on our shoulders, so tend to be luggage-on-wheels pullers as opposed to a backpackers.
Either way, it serves to get lots of looks on the street!
This is a great idea–doing the videos–it will resonate with many of your fellow housesitters!
