Bed and Breakfast La Uascézze Bari is situated in the center of Bari, Italy’s historical center. Getting off at Statione Centrale, the walk to the old town takes about 15 minutes.  There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping nearby.  The B&B is located just below the ancient walls which you allow to walk along giving you spectacular views of the sea.

We were situated in the lower suite, Room Sottano (there are only 2 suites available). The room came equipped with a television, a mini-fridge, wall safe, and fresh biscotti replenished in the morning. The king size bed was quite comfortable, although the pillows could have been better.

The bathroom was the highlight of the room coming equipped with a large rain shower. As well, the B&B stocked shampoos and amenities for our stay.

Breakfast was served at the bar next door and was standard consisting of a cappuccino and a croissant.

The only recommendation we have would be for more detailed instructions on how to find the B&B. We blindly walked around the centre and thankfully had help from a local who knew the bar next door which luckily had our keys waiting for us. If we hadn’t of met him it might have taken us a few hours to arrive since we don’t carry a mobile.

Overall it was a wonderful stay in Bari. The location is great, the room was very clean and the price for the room (75 Euros) is very reasonable considering location, comfort and amenities nearby.
